We provide highly qualified Filipino nursing staff to hospitals, nursing homes and retirement homes in Germany and other European countries. As a POEA accredited agency, we are committed to provide our services based on accountability, transparency and integrity.
With over 1200 caregivers placed, we have already achieved a lot for the people from the Philippines and for Germany.

Further, the agency is committed to fair and ethical recruitment and placement practices, to aligning company practices with the WHO Code of Conduct for the International Recruitment of Health Professionals, to the “employer pays” principle, to international human rights conventions, to ILO core labor standards, particularly the ILO General Principles and Operational Guidelines for Fair Recruitment, to IRIS standards of the International Organization of Migration, and that no placement fees are charged to nurses.

We help

you organize suitable candidates the German language courses required by healthcare institutions by working with Intermed Language Institute INC. in Iloilo City, Philippines.

We cooperate

with the professionally trained DAF teachers from "Intermed Language Institute Inc.", who train the nurses up to the language level B2 Nursing with subsequent examination Telc B2 Nursing. (Recognized by German authorities)

We run

a training center in Iloilo City, where our nurses receive additional support in the areas of applied conversation, local knowledge and preparation for everyday life in the professional as well as private spheres.

We organize

meetings with experienced nurses who have already worked in Germany to exchange experiences on how to work locally.

Recruitment process flow

ATHENA Nursing Care offers German employers the opportunity to get to know trained and qualified nurses from the Philippines well before entering into an employment relationship with them. For this purpose, a special process has been developed that meets the interests and needs of all parties involved and helps employers to make a professional decision as quickly as possible and thus find a new nursing staff.

We accompany all processes starting with the application up to the entry and arrival in Germany.
